GYROTONIC®&GYROKINESIS®
TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

In the GYROKINESIS® Rejuvenation Course, Juliu Horvath, the creator of the GYROKINESIS® Method, shares some of the tools and techniques with which he has learned to bring rejuvenation into his own life. Recognizing this tendency in himself and in other trainers to take care of the needs of others while neglecting one's own, Juliu developed the Rejuvenation Course as a way to address this imbalance. Unlike a Gyrokinesis educational course, students at the Gyrokinesis Rejuvenation Course are not asked to memorize exercise sequences or expand on teaching techniques. Rather, the Rejuvenation Course is meant to be “experienced” by the students. The sole job of the student is to relax, reflect, and recharge. The course in this video was conducted in Ubud, Bali, October-November 2014. For more information on the GYROKINESIS® Method, including classes and studios near you, visit https://www.gyrotonic.com

The GYROKINESIS® Method is a movement method that coordinates movement, breath, and mental focus. Gyrokinesis exercises address the entire body by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. Unlike the Gyrotonic Method, which is practiced on equipment, the Gyrokinesis Method is practiced on a mat and chair, without equipment. Within the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® Method, there are two distinct methods of practice: the GYROTONIC® Method and the GYROKINESIS® Method. This video is a preview of the GYROKINESIS® Method. The GYROTONIC® Method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire person by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength and movement efficiency. With Gyrotonic exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility. Within the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® there are two distinct methods of practice: the GYROTONIC® Method and the GYROKINESIS® Method. This video is a preview of the GYROTONIC® Method.
